Reading ArticlesWhen you first connect to The Omega Times you will arrive at the welcome page for the latest issue. A list of newspapers and articles is displayed on the right hand side of the screen.
The name of the currently displayed article is highlighted eg.  The name of the currently displayed newspaper is displayed above the articles eg.  To read an article Using the menu on the right hand side of the screen, click on the name of the article that you would like to read.
To view articles from an earlier edition of The Omega Times Using the menu on the right hand side of the screen, click on the month of the newspaper you would like to read.
To view newspapers from a previous year Click on the year you require at the top of the menu on the right hand side. eg. 
If you have just arrived at The Omega Times' site you will need to login. Type your username and password in the login box at the top-right of the screen and click on login. You can now read the article Other Article View FeaturesTo read a scripture in its context, click on the highlighted scripture reference, or click on the Bible icon in the scriptures section to the right hand side of the screen. To change your display options for the paper, click on "My Account" in the menu at the top of the screen, then click on "Article Display Options". In this area you can change the following things: - Whether or not to highlight scripture references in the article.
- What color you would like to view the online paper in. eg. Blue or Red
- Whether you want search results to be highlighted when you view the article after searching for a word, or not. eg. if you search for "Clinton" when you view the article is highlighted like this: "...the title ‘Reinvented Government’ a phrase used by President Clinton, an electronic network was..."
Printing An Article
To print an article - click on 'Printer Friendly' in the 'Current' section at the right hand side of the screen. This will take you to a view of the article not divided into pages and without the bars on the sides of the screen. Click on the print button of your web browser to print the article. Note: you must be logged in to print an article. |
