Oh my God - Which god is that?
Having observed people's reactions to the attacks on the
United States of America recently, we have been interested to notice that many
of the folk upon watching the massive explosions and airplanes crashing through
buildings, have exclaimed without even thinking, "Oh my God". The
question should be asked of course, to which God are they praying at this
particular point?
The Bible teaches that the god of this world, the prince of
this world and the prince of the power of the air is none other than Satan, and
therefore we can safely assume that those who use the phrase regularly are
praying to Satan, otherwise known as Lucifer, the bright and morning star, the
one who would ultimately wish to become leader of this world government which is
being formed right now.
Any person who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ will not
call out in such a manner, but will talk to the Lord in a reverent, submissive
manner and pray for those who have undergone such dreadful tragedies in their
lives.
Therefore let this act as a warning to all to be careful of
the words that come out of our mouths, for the Bible has made it quite clear in
Matthew 12:36-37, that by our words, we shall be justified or condemned.
"But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall
speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words
thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."
