Dear Friends

They say 'Familiarity breeds contempt'. I guess when you
hear a message over and over again -– especially if you are awaiting some type
of fulfilment, the message can lose its potency! "Crying Wolf" has always
had a social impact...and imminent danger does exist. Maranatha -– 'Jesus is
coming'...we're exhorted to "Comfort each other with these words" 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.
Perhaps we're only just starting to see why! According
to the Scriptures, things must get worse before they get better...

I used to wonder how on earth the good people of this planet
would ever consider taking a physical 'mark' on their hand or forehead for
the purpose of buying and selling. After watching the aftermath of the September
11 horror in the USA I think I'm beginning to understand. They're saying "The
world will never again be the same...the innocence we knew is gone..."
Obviously, for many who have already survived the ugly fruit of human meanness
and atrocities in years gone by, whose worlds and innocence have already been
tampered with - they have survived, and the current US crisis is just like
