For many years teachers of Bible prophesy have taught that
Israel could be identified as God's clock. They said that whatever happened in
that country was a sign to those of us who are watching the countdown for the
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

However, we have discovered that not so much Israel but
Jerusalem would be better identified as God's clock. It cannot be by accident
that the following groups have a tremendous interest in that city which is also
known as the city of God. The Roman Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church, the
Palestinians (Arabs), the Israelis which call Jerusalem their eternal capital
and last but not least the Freemasons who have their lodge under the wall near
the Damascus Gate.

A number of clues as to the importance of this city are found
in the Word of God and we commence with one found in Luke 21:24b which reads:
"and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the
Gentiles be fulfilled."

To those of us who study Biblical Prophecy, this scripture is
extremely important as we learn that 1967 was the definite date when the whole
city of Jerusalem went back into Israeli hands for the first time in 2500 years.
This means, that the times of the Gentiles ran out world wide in 1967, but by
His grace, God has extended this time a little into a period called the fullness
of the Gentiles.

We read in the book of Romans 11:25: "For I would not,
brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in
your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the
fullness of the Gentiles be come in."

To any reader who is not yet a member of God's family
through faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ, we recommend that you hurry
and settle your destiny by receiving Christ as your very own personal saviour.

It has been significant to watch a number of folk endeavour
to broker peace in Israel, and yet in every case Jerusalem has been the
stumbling block.

We think of men like George Bush Senior, Bill Clinton, Lord
Carington of the Margaret Thatcher government, Colin Powell and also General
Zinni of the George W. Bush administration. All of these have failed, yet it is
clear that in these last days one man will arise and settle the problem, and
this man will be called antichrist.

We quote from Zechariah 12:3: "And in that day will I make
Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it
shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together
against it.."

News watchers will be aware that as we write these articles
in early May 2002, a very hostile situation is emerging in the Middle East
between the many Arab nations and the people of Israel.

We have God's promise in Zechariah 12:8-9, that the Lord
will defend His city in that day when the people do come together in mortal
combat.

Verse 8: "In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants
of Jerusalem...

Verse 9: "And it shall come to pass in that day, that I
will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem."

Many years ago the satanically inspired senior freemason
Albert Pike, along with another man from Italy named Giuseppi Mazzimi wrote
letters to one another showing their objectives for this old world.

They spoke of three world wars and with reference to World
War III, Albert Pike planned that they would stir up the differences between the
Jewish nationalists and the leaders of the Moslem world. The purpose of this war
was to destroy Jewish nationalism and then ultimately to involve the remaining
nations who would fight themselves into a state of complete exhaustion,
physically, mentally, spiritually, and economically - destroying each others
governments and religious institutions in the process.

Any visitor to Israel may observe with their own eyes the
entrance to the Masonic Lodge by turning right as they emerge from the Damascus
Gate from the old city of Jerusalem.

In December 1995, the Jerusalem free Masonic Lodge was
established adjacent to the temple mount in the grotto of King Solomon, working
toward the rebuilding of Solomon's temple. The lodge worked side by side with
underground networks of Jewish and Christian fundamentalist fanatics, amid a
bloody religious war over the control of the temple mount.

In the Executive Intelligence Review dated November 3,
2000 we read: "At the ceremony launching the Jerusalem Lodge, Di Bernardo
declared, "The rebuilding of the temple is at the center of our studies."
"

Although it may sound strange, it needs to be understood that
massive amounts of money from certain groups particularly in America began
pouring into Jerusalem operations aimed ultimately at blowing up the Muslim holy
site at the temple mount and building the third temple.

There are those believers in our Lord Jesus Christ who
believe that the only way for the third Jewish temple to be rebuilt is for them
to destroy the Muslim mosques, which are situated in that area, yet it is very
clear that the Bible does not teach this in any way whatsoever.

Some years ago, my wife May, pointed out a very exciting
scripture found in Zechariah 6:12-13: "And speak unto him, saying, Thus
speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and
he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and
shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne...".

The Golden Gates

Do you now see what became very apparent to me that evening
when I first read that verse? This is the fact: not the temple mount faithful,
not the freemasons, not any religious group, not any national group, but the
Lord Jesus Christ himself who is named in this scripture as the Branch, will
come up through the golden gate on the day of his return, speak, and the temple
will be restored - right behind the site of the Moslem mosque on the temple
mount. Watch the 'Court of the Gentiles' as spoken about in Revelation 11:2
"But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for
it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot
forty and two months."

We therefore recommend to readers of this our monthly
newspaper that you watch very very carefully as the continuous fighting between
the Arabs and the Jews dominates the world headlines and then we are looking for
a seven year peace treaty to be broken after three and one half years and the
one who confirms that treaty will be none other than antichrist himself.

We are living at the end of a generation and amazing things
are happening, and are about to happen worldwide.

We therefore quote the words again of our Lord Jesus Christ
where he said, "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth
come."
