The real war - EU versus US
All superpowers have a temporary lifespan.
Few would disagree that European culture developed out of the
collapsed Roman Empire, which formed out of the collapsed Greek Empire...a tale
of finite proportion really. After Rome, a small Eastern Byzantine effort
dissolved to nothing, and the Ottoman Turks made a short resurgence before
fading. The dark ages (complete with Roman overtures) followed -– the 'World-wide
church' (Catholic) all the while flourishing. A new religion of Islam took a
foothold from Arabia through to Spain...what would become Europe then
experienced 'the Renaissance' as people sought to recover what had been lost
mainly from the Greek and Roman eras (the brutality and destructive invasions
and pillaging of the Dark ages disrupted physical life, property and
traditions...).
Enter 17th century capitalism -– epitomised by
the Dutch Republic, whose official religion was the protestant Reformed Church
Of Calvin. Slave trading created a sense of dis-ease for the people of the
capitalist Republic (including many good church folk) -– not because it was
morally wrong, but because it was a high risk industry, humans are a fragile
commodity and money could be lost.
2003 is with us, and Capitalism has peaked in the USA, with
most other Western Nations looking on with envy. The virtues (write your own
list) carried by Capitalism are accompanied by an evil, immoral dark side. It
can never be 'win-win', the drive to create profit at any cost, and the
associated need for supremacy provides little ground for mutual benefit.
Let's now come back to the topic: the battle of supremacy,
the desire to be Numero Uno -– the Super? States of Europe versus the United?
States of America. This war with Iraq is not about Iraq. It is about the
transition of power from the USA to the 'Divided States of Europe'. It seems
so unlikely, but we are living in fascinating times -– the EU will soon 'come
together'.
Focal point Israel -– and off to the side Iraq.
The European Union has an economy to rival that of the US -–
and an influence on world trade and economics which will soon be seen to be 'second
to none'.
Many of the symbols and brand trademarks used by the EU are a
play on biblical symbols and carry very deliberate anti-God or heathenistic
philosophy. The EU generally has major issues with the thorn in the flesh of the
Middle East -– Israel. (Barry Smith used to say: the man dies, but the spirit
lives on. The same oppressive anti-Christ/anti-Jew spirits from Moses time,
Esther's time, Jesus time, the holocaust -– are at work today).
- One of the Flags of EC -–
circle of twelve stars on blue background = Queen of Heaven - Certain promotional posters
of the EU are modelled on a 16th Century painting of the tower of
Babel...with construction cranes added to the top of the building and a
caption "Many tongues, one voice" an inversion of what happened with the
original tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-11). - A statue of a woman riding
a beast (Rev 17) sits in front of the Brussels European Community building;
the same image appears on certain EU coins and on promotional
materials/posters around Europe.
In an interesting way, the war with Iraq has unified EU
leaders. I know there is 'division' between certain nations -– but
something is being forged beneath the surface. Leaders are just coming to
terms with 'how much individual power they do not possess any longer'.
It is tricky to find some form of balance in these matters
-– history does assist us to a certain point, human nature being a constant.
The USA should not be automatically regarded as the 'good
guys' in this current scenario. That automatically makes the Iraqi people
the bad guys -– and most of them are not. As with any nation of people, there
are the good and bad elements. It just happens that often those with the
necessary drive to get themselves into leadership positions have dark ego's
and corrupted motivations. For many in positions of power, thoughts of the
welfare of the people they lead are secondary to what they themselves want to
achieve. Saddam, the tyrant is a prime example.
But we must not pretend that the leaders of 'America the
great' have clean hands and pure hearts. Those pulling the strings behind
the scenes, the New World Order advocates have used America, and will
sacrifice whatever -– whoever to achieve their ends.
No one argues that on occasions, and at significant times
the USA has been instrumental in the rescue of peoples and even Nations. No
one argues that many millions of dollars have been given by American people
for the work of God through Missions. No one argues that there are many
beautiful believers living in the US. But for all the good -– there is the
wrong. There is the same evil Anti-Christ spirit which drives the corrupted
minds of the power mongers everywhere.
The description of 'capitalist' Mystery Babylon
-– Revelation 18:2-3 seems to cast a certain shadow on America "...Babylon
the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of every foul
spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have
drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth
have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed
rich through the abundance of her delicacies."
It's an irony that Mystery Babylon (America) is about to
attack ancient Babylon (Iraq) -– it is no accident. If the N.W.O 'powers
that be' had finished with Saddam in Desert Storm, he wouldn't be there
today, playing out the role they kept him for.
"War has no certainty -– except the certainty of
sacrifice" (Bush 18.03.03)
I don't believe George Bush understands the extent of
that sacrifice. America will pay dearly for the New World Order war
against Iraq. Again, it is important to differentiate between the people of
America, and her NWO leaders with their agenda's of supremacy.
Terrorism will certainly increase -– very soon fear will
be the order of the day, to the point where the world will be desperately
hungry for peace! This will make way for a 'Saviour' to step into the
world scene at a critical moment. He will be like no other man, with 'something
like an anointing', except it won't be from God. People will wonder after
this man. The Anti-Christ will be readily accepted by people absolutely
desperate for peace and safety -– the beginning of sorrows is upon us.
In 1957 Paul-Henri Spaak (who was then Secretary General of
N.A.T.O.) said "We do not want another committee, we have too many already.
What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the allegiance of all
people, and to lift us out of the economic morass into which we are sinking.
Send us such a man, and be he GOD OR DEVIL, WE WILL RECEIVE HIM."
Around 30AD Jesus said "...take heed that no man deceive
you. For many shall come in my name saying I am the Christ; and shall deceive
many.
And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars; see that you
be not troubled; for these things must surely come to pass, but the end is not
yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom; and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers
places, all these are the beginning of sorrows" Matthew 24:4-8
Lastly -– keep an eye on the wild cards, who will
feature prophetically in the last days. The old enemy of the USA, the Soviet
Union and her Communist ally China. The trigger inviting their re-entry into
prominence? Only God knows...but the scenario could easily be, that while the
USA is locked into an attack on Iraq, the EU watching on, Gog and Magog
mobilise ready to strike -– at both Israel and America. Read Ezekiel 38-39.
